ABOUT

I have been based in Jersey since 2007, joining Axis Mason Architects on my return to the island and becoming an Associate Director in 2009. There, I was responsible for the development and implementation of a diverse array of schemes across a myriad of project sectors.

With a proven track record in Spatial Design and Public Art, I work to deliver unique user experiences and site-based solutions within the context of existing buildings, places and spaces.

Working both in the private and public realm, I can take a variety of projects through from conception to completion and am well-practiced in the art of creating innovative environments to suit a range of budgets.

Currently, Iā€™m working as a freelance designer with a retained role at Axis Mason Architects as a Design Consultant.

APPROACH

My approach to building reuse, or reworking of environments is conceived in response to human experience, activity, movement and flow. It is purposed around enhancing or creating a sensory yet functional relationship between people and place.

My response is arrived at via stakeholder engagement and research. It involves the construction and communication of particular spatial identities using scale, space, light, objects and materials.

SERVICES

I have a collaborative approach to working and over the years, have built up strong and fruitful relationships with a diverse range of people from all areas of the industry. I am able to build design teams where required and source appropriate contractors, fabricators and suppliers. My services are accessible and flexible, ranging from one-off consultations to full design services.
